What is ZEST?

More than 80% of chronic dry eye disease is caused by Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD), where the tiny oil glands along the eyelid become blocked. A major contributor is the build-up of bacteria, dead skin cells, oils and Demodex mites, which form an inflammatory biofilm along the eyelid margin.

ZEST (Zocular Eyelid System Treatment) is a professional eyelid debridement procedure that gently removes this build-up using a patented, natural okra-based gel. Think of it as a deep clinical clean for your eyelids—similar to how a professional dental clean removes plaque from your teeth.
